First Beijing screening in memory of Andrzej Wajda – 14.10.2016

We began our Festival with the screening of Kanal (Sewer) in tribute to Andrzej Wajda. Before the screening, a memory of the director was read in Chinese, in which his influence on Polish post-war cinema was underlined. The audience turnout was high and the film was honoured with a round of applause. All the screenings of Polish film masterpieces take place at the China Film Archive.
