Ludwika Ogorzelec on Space Crystallization – 27.10.2016

On October 26th, the world famous land artist Ludwika Ogorzelec presented a lecture on her “Space Crystallization” cycle, which she began in 1990. Space crystallization is interfering in a space, shattering it into smaller crystal components. The purpose is to force people out of stereotypes and habits of daily life, and to realize their individuality.

“Breathing cloud II”, an installation from the “Space crystallization” cycle, created by the artist in front of the Beijing 1 + 1 Art Centre, evokes ongoing fascination among viewers.
